Getting Back to You

𝗜𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱....⁣ ⁣

The laundry, the bum-wiping, the diaper changes, the feedings, the cleaning, the blow outs, the messes, the activities, etc.....it all needs to be done and it’s part of the beautiful chaos that comes with motherhood.⁣ ⁣

But, you are still YOU. You are still that girl with big dreams. You are still worthy of pursuing opportunities. You are still deserving of happiness and quiet time and doing things that light YOU up {besides snuggling the babes of course🥰}.⁣ ⁣

If you’re feeling lost, like I was for so long, here’s a few questions to ask yourself that might help you to get back to YOU...the you before you were a wife, mother, employee, etc:⁣ ⁣

-What is something you like to do for fun?⁣

-What makes you feel happy?⁣

-What were you doing when you felt your best?⁣

-Who inspires you and how can you connect with them?⁣

-What types of things did you dream about doing as a little girl? ⁣ ⁣

That can be a lot to think about, but it was those questions I started asking myself when I was in the thick of being a new mom. ⁣ ⁣

That’s when I realized I felt my best when I was exercising....so I started getting back into that. Exercising led me to coaching. Which led me to helping people which is what I’ve always known I wanted to do. That led me to owning a business which is something I dreamed about when I was little {only it was a beauty shop named “Mindy’s Miracles😂}. That led me to being home with my babies while also chasing my dreams, working on my front porch in the fresh air while my youngest naps upstairs. #dreamjob And to starting this beautiful, handmade business now.

It started with one decision though, and I had to get there by thinking about myself and how I could get back to who I was at the core. ⁣ ⁣
